Responsibilities
• Provide support to clients in their homes.
• Assist clients with prescribed medications, meal preparation, light cleaning, and changing bed linens.
• Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure).
• Provide direct patient care such as assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, and walking patients.
• Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent breakdown of their skin.
• Interact with patients and family.
• Transport patients and equipment as needed.
• Keep a record of care given.
• Monitor patients and report any variances to normal to the staff management for further assessment.
• Follow infectious disease precautions to prevent the spread of organisms.
• Act as a liaison for our clients, their families and their medical team.

Required Credentials
• Must have current nursing assistant certification (CNA)
Required Experience and Skills
• Minimum of 6 months full-time experience as an inpatient CNA within the last year.
• Must show competency performing blood glucose and vital sign monitoring, and safe transport of patients.
• Must show superior interpersonal skills and unwavering patience.
• Ability to provide comfort and support to patients.
• Ability to assist patient with personal hygiene and other activities of daily living.
